Lo’s stunt double from “Follow the Leader” was spotted in Mexico in 2012. When we realized that the stunt double was actually a male, we both did a double take.
The male extra sported a side braid and matched Lopez’s all-black ensemble, down to the leggings and zip-up sweater. Casper Smart, the man who is now officially ex-boyfriend material, came to set to hang out with the American Idol judge and feed her doughnuts.

Actor Clark Gregg has nothing but praise for Marvel Cinematic Universe, calling his time there the “best run” of his career. He “truly had a pleasure” portraying Phil Coulson in both films and on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., he remarked. The actor who previously starred in Iron Man was a favorite of fans in the M.C.U.
Dane Farwell, who also appeared as an Extremis Soldier in the third Iron Man film, doubled for him on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The antics performed by Farwell/Coulson lead us to concur with Gregg’s assessment that Farwell is a “badass.”

Malin Akerman posted a photo of herself and her stunt double, Maria Radman, on Instagram with the caption “double” as a joke. They do appear suspiciously same, especially because they are both wearing blue pantsuits. This resemblance is desirable in a stunt double because it reduces the amount of post-production work required to make them look identical.
On the Ett sista race, Radman covered for Akerman. This international film premieres in 2023 and follows Dennis, a former family man turned street racer. The Swedish film “Ett sista race,” also known as “The Final Race,” has been called a “motor racing comedy” by Nordic magazine.

Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and James Corden were just a few of the well-known actors that lent their talents to Disney’s Into the Woods, which was a film that will stand the test of time. Unfortunately, this Batpod crashed, as such things often do in Batman: The Dark Knight Rises. Accidentally crashing into an IMAX camera, Van Vogt lost control of his car. The incident resulted in the camera, which cost six figures, being shattered to pieces, with shrapnel flying for several feet in all directions. In spite of the dramatic nature of the collision, thankfully no one was hurt.
Shia LaBeouf and Colin Follenweider
Movie/Show: Transformers
Production Budget: $195 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $10,000-$50,000*
It’s safe to say that Shia LeBeouf’s stunt double, Colin Follenweider, nailed every one of the dangerous stunts in Transformers. Follenweider has doubled for Shia in Dark of the Moon and portrayed a U.S. soldier trapped in the middle of an explosion as a stuntman in Revenge of the Fallen.
After appearing in three installments of the film series, Shia brought an end to his stint as a recurring character in Michael Bay’s high-budget action movies. Screen Rant claims LeBeouf didn’t return for Age of Extinction because he was satisfied with how Sam’s tale concluded at the conclusion of the trilogy.

O’Neill has collaborated with Cruise on projects such as Knight and Day, and he has also worked with other notable studios and directors, such as Marvel and Steven Spielberg. Even while Cruise did a lot of the groundwork for Knight and Day himself, he outsourced the harder things to the experts.
Natalie Portman and Sarah Lane

Production Budget: $13 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $10,000-$50,000*
Darren Aronofsky, who also directed the horror film Mother! starring Jennifer Lawrence, helmed the powerful drama Black Swan. In the dark and twisty drama Black Swan, Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis played two competitive ballerinas with a sinister relationship. Both actresses had extensive roles in the Oscar-winning film, doing both stunt work and dance numbers.
According to Sarah Lane, despite Portman’s assertions to the contrary, the actress only did 5% of the dance in the film. Seeing that she was just listed as a “stunt double” in Black Swan infuriated A.B.T. soloist Lane. The debate was so passionate that it warranted its own article in the online encyclopedia.
Megan Fox and Maria Papathanasiou
Movie/Show: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Production Budget: $125-$150 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $10,000-$50,000*
Megan Fox, who did a majority of her own stunts in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and so considered herself a “bada**,” said that she had a “excellent” stunt double. On set, they were compared as twins. For all her work as a stunt double, Maria Papathanasiou has also established herself as a successful model and actor.
Paramount’s The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles stars Megan Fox as April O’Neill, a reporter who aids the TMNT in their quest to save New York City from the sewers. On Rotten Tomatoes, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has a rating of only 21%, which is disappointing to hear.

In the late ’90s and early ’00s, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was one of the most popular shows on television. It has become a cultural touchstone and is still widely recognized. Sarah Michelle Gellar played the lead part in the vampire-hunting thriller. In the program, Michelle Gellar’s role as the vamp-fighting Sophia Crawford was played by Crawford for all four seasons.

Movie/Show: I Feel Pretty
Production Budget: $24 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $40,000*
In the case of I Feel Pretty, stunt performer Meredith Richardson took on most of the physical challenges of the film. And given that Richardson is an experienced stuntwoman with a wealth of skills under her belt, it’s easy to see why she was perfect for the role.
Not only did Richardson do all of her own stunts in the movie, but she also served as an assistant fight coordinator. In short, Richardson was integral to making I Feel Pretty look and feel as good as it does.

He has the skill and daring to take on any action scene, and he proved that with his work in Transformers: Age of Extinction. This was the only movie in 2014 to take in over a billion dollars at the box office, and Mast’s performance was a big part of that success.
He was nominated for two Taurus Awards for his work in the film, and he continues to make a name for himself in the industry. Mast is young, but he has already shown that he has what it takes to be a top Hollywood stunt double.

Production Budget: $140 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $55,000*
As a Hollywood stuntman, Tony Angelotti knows the risks involved in performing death-defying stunts. But that didn’t stop him from doing what he loves – even after fracturing his pelvis and damaging his bladder on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean.
Despite the dangers, Angelotti says that the camaraderie on set makes it all worth it. After a long day of filming, he recalls sitting down with Johnny Depp to share a glass of wine and chat about their day. And when Depp found out that Angelotti had broken his pelvis, he gifted his friend with a replica of the Dead Man’s Chest ring from the film franchise.

He’s a very experienced stuntman, and he’s done a great job at looking like Hemsworth. In fact, Hanton even doubled for Chris Pine in Wonder Woman in 2017. They needed someone who looked so similar to Moore that if you paused the action scenes, you couldn’t tell them apart. Fortunately, they were able to find someone who fit the bill. His name is Tanoai Reed, and he’s a world-class stuntman with years of experience under his belt.

Mark Sutton stood in for Robin Williams when necessary (such as when Williams’ insurance wouldn’t allow him to do anything), even though the film wasn’t particularly action-packed. Aside from being a rating success for its network, the supernatural drama has spawned many spinoffs, including The Originals, Legacies, A Darker Truth, and The Awakening. There’s little question that many of T.V.D.’s stunt duplicates went on to reprise their roles in the many spinoffs.

When it comes to Hollywood stunt doubles, there is no one more daring than those who are willing to take on the challenge of performing stunts in an underwater setting. These brave souls often have to contend with dangerous sea creatures and risky maneuvers, all for the chance to earn a paycheck that is significantly higher than the average wage.
In the movie Underwater, stunt doubles were paid $3,200 per week, which is a testament to just how dangerous and challenging these stunts can be. Stunt doubles risk their lives every day to produce thrilling scenes to the screen, whether it is on a high wire or in shark-infested seas.
Antonio Banderas and Norman Mora
Movie/Show: Once Upon a Time in Mexico
Production Budget: $29 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
Norman Mora’s work as a stunt double can be seen in films such as Once Upon a Time in Mexico, which features Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Johnny Depp, Danny Trejo, Willem Dafoe, and Mickey Rourke, as well as in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End.
In this 2003 film, the movie’s A-list cast did their own stunts and action sequences. Banderas portrayed El Mariachi, a guitar-playing hero who pursues a cartel boss who has a score to settle in the contemporary Western that he appeared in. The film’s worldwide gross was close to $100 million.
Emilia Clarke and Rosie Mac
Movie/Show: Game of Thrones
Production Budget: $100 million per season*
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
The Game of Thrones stunt doubles definitely earn their paychecks. They often have to do dangerous stunts that could easily go wrong. In fact, Emilia Clark’s stunt double during the fifth season of the HBO series was Rosie Mac. Mac has also done a lot of work outside of Game of Thrones and stunt doubling.
She played the lead in the 2016 live-action Disney movie Little Mermaid, and she has cofounded her own casting agency, the Mac Model Casting Agency. Most recently, in 2020, the Daenerys stunt double played herself as a contestant on Little Mix: The Search. It’s definitely not an easy job, but it’s definitely a fun one!
Bryce Dallas Howard and Whitney Coleman
Movie/Show: Jurassic World
Production Budget: $150 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
You can be fooled into thinking it’s the same person when you see a snapshot of Bryce Dallas Howard and Whitney Coleman side by side. Coleman possesses Howard’s blazing red hair, bangs, and height, so the two seem “freakishly similar,” as Looper described it. On Jurassic World, the continuation of the Jurassic Park series, the two collaborated.
To far, there have been six films, with the seventh and final installment, Jurassic World: Dominion, set for release on June 10, 2022. Cast members who have previously appeared in the series include Chris Pratt, Sam Neil, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Bryce Dallas Howard.
Nicolas Cage and Damián Vázquez
Movie/Show: The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent
Production Budget: $30 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
Damien Vasquez, called “Cobra” by his pals, is Hollywood star Nicolas Cage’s stunt double. The Tijuana stuntman has had stunt parts in movies including Seized and The Retirement Plan, both of which came out in the previous several years.
Because of his efforts in those movies, Vasquez was offered and accepted an exclusive contract to do stunt double duties for Cage in the upcoming film, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. One of Cage’s finest works, Talent is looking better and better. Starring Cage, Pedro Pascal, Lily Mo Sheen, and Ike Barinholtz, the movie is humorous, self-deprecating, and, most importantly, incredibly action-packed.
Nicole Kidman and Alicia Vela-Bailey
Movie/Show: Just Go With It
Production Budget: $80 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
The A-list cast of Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Brooklyn Decker, and Nicole Kidman helped the romantic comedy Just Go With It earn $215 million at the box office despite its low score of 19 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. Alicia Vela-Bailey played the role of Kidman’s stunt double.
Bailey, who has previously been in films like the critically acclaimed Little Fockers, was Kidman’s “dancing double” in one of the sequences. Even though it received mixed reviews from critics, the picture ended up making $135 million more than expected, thus Columbia Pictures was undoubtedly pleased with the results.
David Boreanaz and Mike Massa
Movie/Show: Angel
Production Budget: Unknown
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
The stunt double for David Boreanaz on the show Angel reportedly earned $3,200 per week. This may not seem like a lot, but when you consider the fact that most stunt doubles only work a few days a week, it can add up pretty quickly.
Boreanaz is known for doing many of his own stunts and he is definitely not the only actor who likes to get involved in that aspect of production. In fact, many actors enjoy getting their hands dirty and doing their own stunts, even if it means putting their safety at risk.
Millie Bobby Brown and Various
Movie/Show: Stranger Things
Production Budget: $30 million per episode* (Season 5)
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
Star of Stranger Things and Eleven/Elle Millie Bobby Brown prefers to perform most of her own stunts, although when necessary she uses a stunt double. There are many different actresses she doubles with that are physically similar to her, yet her audience never notices. As the show’s most dynamic character, Eleven demands it.
She can move objects with the power of her thoughts and is constantly on the run from monsters from the Upside-Down because of her telekinetic abilities. Her three stunt duplicates will be working hard this season.
Bradley Cooper and Unknown
Movie/Show: A Star is Born
Production Budget: $36 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
The stunt duplicate for Bradley Cooper in A Star Is Born was called a “born lookalike” by Refinery29. In spite of the fact that this bearded figure remains unknown at present, the megastar and his double appeared to get along famously, since the latter was often overheard speaking with the former on set.
These extremely attractive siblings collaborated on the Oscar-winning, financially successful drama. Cooper played an experienced musician battling addiction and personal troubles. His character develops feelings for a beautiful young actress, but their relationship is tested as they begin to pursue separate careers.
Joaquin Phoenix and Stephen Izzi
Movie/Show: Joker
Production Budget: $70 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
A veteran of the D.C. Entertainment universe, stuntman Stephen Izzi has worked on films such as The Dark Knight Rises, Gotham, and The Joker. He stood in for Joaquin Phoenix in the role of Arthur Fleck whilst Phoenix was filming The Joker.
Unbeknownst to the audience, Izzi appears in one of the film’s opening sequences. No one can disagree that the best picture winner was an intense look at human nature. Fleck was an outcast who was coerced into being Batman’s archenemy. Despite The Joker being an exception, DC has certainly won Izzi over for its future comic book action films.
Christian Bale and Buster Reeves
Movie/Show: Batman Begins
Production Budget: $150 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
Since Buster Reeves was a karate champion before he became a stunt double, he was a natural choice to stand in for Christian Bale in the role of Batman in Batman Begins. That wasn’t Reeves’ only D.C. endeavor, as he also doubled as Tom Hardy’s monstrous Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, one of Nolan’s darkest flicks.
In Batman Begins, Bale’s Batman journeys East, where he is schooled in martial arts by Henri Ducard, member of the League of Shadows. Reeves’ karate expertise was essential for the intense battle sequences. The picture was a smash, grossing over $374 million at the box office.
Danny DeVito and Michael Munoz
Movie/Show: Deck the Halls
Production Budget: $51 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
Michael Munoz is another person that resembles Danny DeVito physically. Given that actor Danny DeVito is at barely 4 feet 10 inches tall, it’s impressive that stunt double Munoz was located. In addition, Munoz has worked as a stunt double for young actors and a suit performer for characters such as Mickey Mouse, Pac-Man, Pinocchio, and others.
The amusing dark comedy It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia included Munoz as DeVito’s stunt double, and the holiday film Deck the Halls also benefited from his services. This film, released in 2006, cost $51 million to produce but only made $54 million at the box office.
Billie Lourd and Milly Nalin
Movie/Show: American Horror Story
Production Budget: $43 million per season*
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
Due to the fact that the actress Billie Lourd has appeared in a variety of roles during the course of American Horror Story’s production, she is a familiar face on the set. Milly Nalin, who has been working with her since the show’s 2011 debut, frequently serves as her stunt double.
The creators of both Glee and AHS share a common background, yet the two shows couldn’t be more different from one another. The gruesome seasons of American Horror Story have spanned a wide range of horror subgenres during the show’s lengthy existence. Much conjecture has been made concerning season eleven’s content.
Alicia Vikander and Hannah Behan
Movie/Show: Tomb Raider
Production Budget: $94 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
In the latest Tomb Raider movie (2018), Alicia Vikander stepped in for Angelina Jolie. The film’s over $275 million worldwide gross may be attributed in large part to Vikander’s performance in several high-stakes action sequences. Behan was her stunt double in the film, so she has her to thank for those performances.
Behan is no stranger to high-octane roles; from 2016 until 2022, she played a Vikings Shield Maiden on the History Channel’s Vikings. Additionally, in 2022, she performed stunt work for Vikings: Valhalla. The IMDb profile describes Behan as “well trained” and “self-driven.” From her output, that’s not hard to believe.
Patrick Stewart and John Nowak
Movie/Show: Star Trek: Next Generation
Production Budget: $1.3 million per episode*
Salary of Stunt Double: Unknown
Although John Nowak is now retired, he worked as a stunt performer in several Star Trek films, including Star Trek: The Next Generation, Army of Darkness, and Star Trek: Generations, among others, during his career. From what I can tell, he was Patrick Stewart’s main stunt double on TGN, and the two men had a striking resemblance.
Star Trek: The Next Generation was the next installment in the popular space opera series. It premiered in the late ’80s and aired for seven seasons and 178 episodes. Fans saw a more powerful U.S.S. Enterprise captained by a more collected individual.
Carrie Fisher and Tracey Eddon
Movie/Show: Star Wars: Return of the Jedi
Production Budget: $32.5 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
There are several photos of Carrie Fisher and her stunt double Tracey Eddon having fun on the set of Return of the Jedi. During a break in filming, the pair relaxed by taking a sunbath on the set. It’s understandable that Fisher would have needed a stunt double for such a high-action sequel as Return of the Jedi.
There was a significant payoff for Fox, George Lucas, Carrie Fisher, and the rest of the cast of the famous space opera Star Wars, which was released in 1993 and had a budget of $40 million but generated more than 10 times that amount at the box office.
Julie Newmar and Marilyn Watson
Movie/Show: Batman
Production Budget: $50,000-$100,000 per episode*
Salary of Stunt Double: $3,200 per week*
Prior to Eartha Kitt taking up the role of Catwoman in the third and final season of Batman, fans were blown away by Julie Newmar in the role. Instead of continuing her role as Batgirl, Newmar departed to portray an Apache lady in the Western film Mackenna’s Gold.
However, Newmar did not do any of her own stunts when playing the nimble cat thief Catwoman on Batman. Her stunt double, Marilyn Watson, was the one in charge of those. Since the antihero Selina Kyle is, well, cat-like, she has always required a swift, athletic performer or stunt double.
Karen Allen and Wendy ‘Leech’ Armstrong
Movie/Show: Indiana Jones
Production Budget: $20 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $10,000-$50,000*
The Indiana Jones film series is widely regarded as one of the best in the action genre. Millions of dollars have consistently been made by the adventures of the intrepid archaeologist and explorer, played by Harrison Ford. Karen Allen, who played Marion in the film adaptation of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark and took place in the year 1936, was Indy’s main woman.
Wendy Armstrong (née Leech), who played her stunt double, had some of the film’s most memorable moments. The performer Vic Armstrong is Armstrong’s husband. In the critically acclaimed film, Vic played the role of Harrison Ford’s duplicate.
Natasha Lyonne and Becca GT
Movie/Show: Russian Doll
Production Budget: Unknown
Salary of Stunt Double: $10,000-$50,000*
Given that death is the primary focus of the program Russian Doll, it is not surprising that the show contains a number of different depictions of deaths. Natasha Lyonne does not actually do the high-flying action scenes in which she is struck by a vehicle. She owes that to Becca GT, her stunt double.
Also, Becca GT has done a “Professional Confessional,” spilling to the New York Post about her favorite sequences to shoot (she loved the car scene). The hallucinogenic, mind-bending thriller Russian Doll has been a great success for Netflix, receiving a 97 percent rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes.
Karen Gillan and Kelly Richardson
Movie/Show: Guardians of the Galaxy
Production Budget: $200 million*
Salary of Stunt Double: $10,000-$50,000*
There aren’t many other franchises that produce action films that carry as much of a punch as those from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Karen Gillan, who played the title role in Jumanji, now portrays Nebula in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers films. Nebula, for those unfamiliar with the canon, is Thanos’s adoptive daughter and Gamora’s adopted sister.
Gillan’s portrayal of the antiheroic “Luphomoid assassin” has won her many accolades from viewers. When fans of M.C.U. saw photos of Gillan and her stunt double, Kelly Richardson, both ladies in full, baldheaded, bright blue Nebula makeup, they thought they were seeing double.
